We are currently engaged with a large, PE-backed franchise brand client in active marketing transformation - shifting from a legacy direct mail model to a fully defined digital local marketing program for a national franchisee network. The program doesn't yet exist in any practical form. Franchisees have been told to spend on local marketing but given no guidance on what that means, which channels to use, or which vendors to work with. This VP/Director role owns the work of defining and building that program - while serving as the senior day-to-day partner to leadership and earning trust with franchise owners who have been let down before. This is a hands-on operator role inside a franchise system under genuine pressure to perform. The right person understands that environment and knows how to move quickly inside it. Job Description We are looking for a senior marketing operator to step into a franchise brand in active transformation and lead the marketing effort from day one. The brand is shifting its marketing model but has not yet defined what that looks like in practice for franchisees. This person walks into that situation, assesses what matters most, and gets to work. This is not a consulting role. It is a hands-on operator role that requires someone who understands how franchise systems actually work - the economics, the franchisor-franchisee relationship, and how to earn trust quickly with business owners who have been let down before.
